An additional 2,500 square meters for production and administration, state-of-the-art air-conditioning technology, an automated small parts warehouse and new staff rooms: after two years of construction, 1zu1 is completing the expansion of its operations at its headquarters in Rhomberg's factory in Dornbirn. The major investment amounted to around 5 million euros.
The climate-stable production rooms offer optimal conditions for industrial series production in 3D printing. Standard climate and constant humidity guarantee minimal fluctuations of the components in terms of mechanical parameters, dimensional accuracy and surface quality. The ideal room conditions also maximize repeatability during dyeing by means of hot pressure impregnation and chemical smoothing.
